  • Antiphospholipid Syndrom (APS) is an autoimmune condition that leads to recurrent fetal loss, thrombosis and Thrombocytopenia in women. It occurs due to the formation of Anticardiolipin antibodies (ACL). These antibodies take over in the very early stage of pregnancy, during fetal implantation and disrupt the normal reproductive event. Reportedly the extent of recurrent pregnancy loss due to these autoantibodies lies between 8-42%.
  • This test profiles you for the presence or development of these antibodies during the early days of your pregnancy and helps you figure out if you need any further treatment on that.
