Megaloblastic Anaemia

Presence of red blood cells larger than normal characterizes megaloblastic anaemia. Also, their number is not enough in the blood. Major causes of it are vitamin b 12 or folate deficiency.

Complete blood count – The CBC gives information about the number of red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets along with the hematocrit and the indices in your blood.The correlation of all these parameters gives clue to the diagnosis of macrocytic anaemia.
