- AIDS i.e. Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome is a very fatal condition that compromises our immune system and is caused by the HIV. EIA is a screening test that detects even the slightest symptoms of HIV, if present, and provides an accurate report. Few of the symptoms include fatigue, fever, constant weight loss and recurrent infections.
