- Sickle cell anaemia is known for triggering a chain of disorders in our body that if not controlled can lead to very fatal consequences. This disease leads to acute illness and progresses with damaging all our organs one by one.
- It also leads to Haemoglobin Polymerization, leading to Erythrocyte rigidity and Vaso-occlusion, which are considered as the centre of the pathophysiology of this disease. While all these disorders are to be taken care of, Chronic Anemia, Haemolysis and Vasculopathy are suggested to be taken care of, on priority.
