Description
- The ADA test helps in the diagnosis of Tuberculosis or TB in patients. ADA increases in cases of Tuberculosis in approximately 20% of cases.
- Adenosine deaminase is an enzyme involved in purine metabolism. Its primary function in humans is the development and maintenance of the immune system.
- The ADA test measures the level of ADA or Adenosine Deaminase in one’s pleural fluid.
