Description
- Dengue fever testing is used to determine whether a person with symptoms and recent potential exposure to dengue has been infected.
- Antibody tests are primarily used to help diagnose a current or recent infection. IgM is one of two classes of antibodies (other is IgG) produced by the body in response to a dengue fever infection. It helps in diagnosing the level of infection and suggest better treatment based on the results.
